United Nations' Enterprise Risk Management System
The management of high risks is an inherent part of the daily activities of the United Nations. Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) is an important managerial tool to enable effective decision making at strategic level. The purpose of this course is to support a wider understanding of the basic concepts of ERM and internal control, and provide guidance to staff members on how to implement them as part of their daily work. The course also aims at presenting the framework that has been adopted by the UN Secretariat and explaining roles and responsibilities of staff at various levels.
